MA Loader

Do I need a special or modified 5.56/.223 Upper Receiver to use the MA Loader?
You do not need a special or modified 5.56/.223 Upper Receiver to use the MA Loader. It is designed to work with all MIL Spec upper receivers.

I have seen the MA Feed Ramp used on rifles in some of your recent social media postings. Do I need to purchase the MA Feed Ramp to use the MA Loader on my MIL Spec rifle?
No modification to your AR-15 is required to use our MA Loader!  There continues to be some confusion floating around the internet about it being required to modify your rifle to use our MA Loader. Our MA Feed Ramp is optional and no modification is necessary! You do NOT need to purchase our MA Feed Ramp to use the MA Loader on your MIL Spec rifle or to modify your rifle in any way! The MA Feed Ramp is strictly OPTIONAL if you are looking to slightly improve your reload speed, but again, it is not necessary.

Does use of your MA Loader always advance the bolt and load the first round during removal?
As the MA Loader is still so new, there is a misconception that it is required to always automatically advance the bolt when the loader is removed. This is a popular loading action, but not required. We recommend you hold the bolt stop during removal of the MA Loader, especially in pinned magazine setups (as we do). This will keep the bolt in-place following loader removal and allow you to inspect / advance the bolt as you normally would after reloading. This is simple to do and a comfortable loading action. This removes virtually any possibility for a misfeed. But we have had amazing reliability during testing with the “auto-advance” action, which saves a step during range ops. Please try both ways during your testing and reporting.

Will the MA Loader work function with .300 ACC Blackout ammunition?
Regarding the 300 AAC Blackout, we have had mostly good results using the AR-15 MA Loader (5.56/.223) with those rounds. Because the profile of the bullet is a little different, we have seen that there is a chance the bullets can fall out easier. Depending on your specific ammo and rifle you may not notice any issue. Those issues have all been with fully retaining the bullets when not loading. We have had no issue loading using those rounds in the 5.56/.223 MA Loader. We are looking at having a specific 300BLK MA Loader just so it works perfectly as designed. Feel free to try it out and it may be fine with your configuration.

Is MEAN developing an AK47 variant of the MA Loader?
We are currently working on several different calibers and capacities. We are perfecting the AK47 loader right now. Please check back to our website frequently for updates and pre order information.

Are MA Loaders capable of being shipped to CA or NY?
We have no issue shipping to customers in CA or NY.  Our MA Loader has no metal parts and renders the rifle mechanically impossible to fire while attached to your upper receiver. It is not by definition a magazine under California law. It is a loading assist device.

Will the MA Loader function on left handed upper receivers?
Our MA Loader unfortunately will not function correctly on a left side ejection port. We do expect at some time in the future to reverse mold our MA Loader specifically for left handed individuals. Please check back often to our website for new products announcements and pre order products.

What is the MA Loader return/refund policy?
Customer satisfaction is very important to us for every MEAN product we offer.  MA Loaders have a 30 day full money back guarantee if you are not satisfied for any reason.  Also, every MA Loader has a limited lifetime warranty. If you break it, we replace it.  Purchase with confidence.
